Bucks Preview: Game 6 vs Kings

After what could end up being an early statement win against the Pacers last time out, the Bucks look to make it three in a row tonight against the Sacramento Kings.

Sacramento Kings (2-4)

  • 33-49 last season
  • 58-82 against Bucks all-time
  • Like the Kansas City Royals, have been located in Kansas City and have been named the Royals. Unlike the Kansas City Royals, have never been these two things at the same time

Offensive Key

In Milwaukee’s blowout win against the Pacers on Thursday night, both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker scored 27 points. When the two young guns are scoring at will like that, it’s going to be hard for any team to stop the Bucks. Both Giannis and Jabari turned the ball over 4 times against the Pacers, though, so if they can score like that and hold on to the ball a little better it’ll be near impossible for the Kings to come out on top.

Defensive Key

In Sacramento’s biggest loss of the season (against the Heat), Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins combined for 60 points. In their biggest win of the season (against the Suns), Gay and Cousins combined for 46 points. What does this mean? Those two are going to get theirs, no matter what happens in the game. The key to winning is stifling the rest of the Kings’ offense, because Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins aren’t going to beat you by themselves, as good as they are.

Tune in at 7:00 PM CT as the Bucks look to go 4-2 and continue their solid start to the season!
